Thunderstorms rolled over my house this morning at 4:00 AM and thunder and lightening woke me up. By the time I was up and drinking my first coffee, the rain was hitting my skylight pretty hard. It sounded like some kind of war going on. The noise is great.

Your photo is really nice. It is a reminder to me that during World War II, the citizens were asked to save tin foil and it was found on the inside of chewing gum wrappers and on the inside of a package of cigarettes. Most folks had large balls of it. Then it could be turned in for the war effort.

  2. Abe - thanks for the post. We have teenagers in the house and I can imagine the size of the tin foil ball we would grow.

We need some of your rain. We've had some recently, but May was the third driest May on record and we're still pretty dry.

I saw your arrow post. It's the kind of 'slice of life' information I like. Just like the chewing gum wrapper bit. Enjoy the rest of your day!
